Bring your friends for summer horse fun & learning!
Each day will include lessons in riding, grooming, saddling, horse care, horse body language and communication, horsemanship, and a variety of topics including horse anatomy, nutrition, horse sports, uses & history, training, horse breeds, horse colors, and activities pertaining to general horse knowledge.
Students will be split into groups for lessons which will be tailored to the skill level and ability of each group.
More advanced students will cover topics like course design, show prep, training theory, fitness & conditioning, natural horsemanship training, and groundwork skills like lunging, ground driving, and the use of body language to train horses.
Students should bring a lunch, snack, plenty to drink, and a change of clothes.
Parents are invited to a horse show on Friday to demonstrate skills learned during the week.
We want everyone to have fun and learn something along the way!
