Join us for Beverly Equestrian's 2024 VHSA Hunter Jumper Summer Premiere Series, suitable for all levels.

All courses are inviting with show quality fences on all-weather footing. Warm up is also on all weather footing. These shows are held in a low key atmosphere, supportive environment, with amazing prizes, and are lots of fun.

▪️ PRICING ▪️ 
• $40 per hunter class, $100 per division;
• $45 per equitation class;
• $35 per jumper class;
• $35 per entry or supporting documentation received after Thursday before the show.

VHSA rules and division specifications apply.

▪️ SCHOOLING ▪️
The rings are open for schooling up until 15 minutes before the start of the show. There is no lunging in the rings.

Warm up (unjudged rounds/California Warm-Ups) are available for $30 per round throughout the day in the hunter ring only. Please pre-register.

▪️ PRIZES & AWARDS ▪️
VHSA Points will be awarded to current members only. Membership Forms are available from the show secretary.

Show manager reserves the right to combine or cancel classes if there are insufficient entries.

Entries must be submitted electronically through Strider Pro. Contact show secretary for special situations.

Points for Champion/Reserve will use VHSA rules:

▪️ HOW TO ENTER ▪️
Please register/pay via Strider in advance.
Attach your Coggins/signed Beverly release to registration or email to Organizer prior to closing.

▪️ NON COMPETE HORSES ▪️
We also must ask that any noncompeting horses register as such on our Strider platform and pay the $40 non-compete horse fee. It is important that we have a release and a coggins on file for every horse on the property. Again, we appreciate your understanding as bio security and safety is our top concern.

▪️ COURSE MAPS & SCORING ▪️
All information about the schooling rounds including coursemaps, tentative schedule, and live scoring can be accessed on our public Google folder. Coursemaps are usually available the Thursday before the show date.

▪️ SCHEDULE ▪️
All information about the show including a tentative schedule can be accessed on our public Google folder. We do not have set ride times but do post updates on how the rings are running throughout the day on our social media platforms.

The rings are open for schooling up until 15 minutes before the start of the show.

Hunter Division Class Specifications

Junior Hunter Pleasure Horse: Open to Junior riders. No cross-entering between this and adult Hunter Pleasure at the same show.

Senior Pleasure: Open to non Junior riders. No cross entering between this and Junior Hunter Pleasure at the same show.

Junior Hunter and Adult Hunter Pleasure Horse - This Division may be combined if needed. Horses may cross enter into another VHSA Associate Pleasure Division at the same show. An Amateur Adult or Professional may enter the Adult Hunter Pleasure Horse Division.

Children's Hunter - This Division may only be combined with the Adult Amateur Division.

Adult Amateur Hunter - This Division may only be combined with the Children's Hunter Division.

VHSA Adult Equitation on the flat: Open to non professional riders 18 years of age and older.

VHSA Equitation on the flat 14 and under: Open to riders who have not reached their 15 birthday by December 1st.

VHSA Equitation on the flat 15-17: Open to riders who have reached their 15th birthday by December 1st of the calendar year but have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1st.

Special Hunter: Open to all horses/ponies and riders. May trot or canter. Fences 2' or 2'6”.

Thoroughbred Hunter: Open to all Thoroughbred hunters. Must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Jockey Club. Fences 2’6”, 2’9”, or 3’.

Green Hunter: Open to a horse of any age in their 1st or 2nd year of showing over fences2’6” or higher. Exception: Horses may compete over 2’6” fences in a non-VHSA Associate division (e.g. Special, Baby Green) for one year without affecting green status. Fences 2’6”, 2’9”, or 3’.

Working Hunter: Open to horses only. This division may only be combined with Thoroughbred Hunter or Green Hunter Horse. Fences 2’6”, 2’9”, or 3’.

Jumper Division Class Specifications

Novice Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper - Open to children and adult amateurs in their 1st or 2nd year of showing in jumper classes at 2'6" or higher as of December 1st of the current show year. Riders in this division may only cross enter into the Novice Jumper if horse is eligible, Thoroughbred Jumper and Low Jumper or any other class that does not exceed 3'0" at the same show.

Novice Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper and Novice Jumper classes may be run together, with separate points reported to the Associate Program.

Novice Jumper - Open to horses and ponies in their 1st or 2nd year of showing in jumper classes at 2'6" or higher as of December 1st of the current show year. Horses and ponies in this division may only cross enter into the Novice Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper if rider is eligible, Thoroughbred Jumper and Low Jumper or any other class that does not exceed 3'0" at the same show.

Open: No restriction on horses/ponies or riders.

Show Management Rules

1. All riders must wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets while mounted.
2. A Beverly Release must be signed by each rider/exhibitor (and his or her parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18) and other related participants prior to participating in any activity or riding at Beverly.
3. Current negative Coggins on all horses on the show grounds must be presented to the show secretary.
4. Payment must be left with the show secretary before numbers are given out.
5. Show Management reserves the right to refuse entries before or during the show without liability or compensation.
6. Show Management will not tolerate hostile or unsportsmanlike behavior.
7. Items left on show grounds will be kept for a limited time before given away or thrown out. Please be sure to get all personal items before leaving shows.
8. All riders/exhibitors (including parents and legal guardians if under the age of 18), owners, trainers, their agents, and other related Participants will be held responsible for any damage to the Show grounds, jumps, rails/poles, and/or Beverly property.
9. No one or horse is allowed to walk the grounds outside of the show area. No one is allowed to touch resident horses or go inside the main barn.
10. All classes can be moved, canceled, split, or combined at the option of Show Management.
11. Anyone disqualified may be found ineligible for ribbons or prizes.
12. Ribbons or prizes must be picked up at show office on show days or by appointment.
13. NO CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING.
14. All horses must satisfy non-competing horse requirements, including paying a non-compete fee and having a negative coggins within 12 months.

The management is not liable for any injury to person or horse or loss of any personal property at any time.

  • Trailer Direction: The entrance to the farm is from Zulla Road, at approximately 3515 Zulla Road. After turning onto Beverly Lane, follow the drive to the right through the stone pillars. After passing through the stone pillars, turn right to go through the double gate to trailer parking in the paddock. There is a short 5 minute walk from the trailer parking to the indoor and outdoor arenas.
